Microblading
What is Microblading
What can I expect during an appointment?
How long does it last?
- The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years maintain shape, color, and detail. How often depends on a number of factors including:
– Skin type (oily skin fade faster)
– Pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster)
– Sun exposure (over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment)
– Use of daily anti-aging products e.g.- (Tretinoin (Retin-A) & Alpha Hydroxy). These products increase your cell turnover rate and will shorten the life of your cosmetic tattoo
Does it hurt?
Everyone has a different pain tolerance and takes to anesthetic differently. A topical numbing cream is used to relieve any surface discomfort. During this time you may feel a scratching sensation. After the first pass an additional numbing liquid is used which is meant for open skin. This relieves nearly 100% of the discomfort. Anesthetic wears off in less than an hour after appointment.

Combo Brows
What are combo brows and how do they differ from microblading?
Lash extensions
Do I need to prep before my appointment?
1. If you wear waterproof mascara, discontinue use 3 days prior to your appointment.
2. Arrive with a freshly clean face and impeccably clean lashes.
3. Avoid oil based products on and around the eyes.
4. Arrive freshly showered and with clean hair. You won’t be able to wet the lashes for the initial 24 hours after application.
5. Remove your contacts, if you wear them. I recommend my clients wear glasses the day of service.
6. Facials first, lashes last.
Will lash extensions ruin my natural lashes?
They shouldn’t. Lashes are a dual effort. I need to do my part as an artist but you also must do your part as a client and follow the proper rules or you can have premature fallout and potential damage. Keeping your lashes clean and free of debris is crucial to healthy natural lashes and healthy lash extensions!
How long do they last? What is the upkeep?
Lashes require maintenance and require 1-3 week fills to keep them full.
Can I wear mascara?
Mascara is a huge no-no with lash extensions! If you must use a mascara it has to be oil free as well as all other eye products you use! Oil breaks down glue bonds quickly and will cause premature lash fall out. I can order oil free eyeliner and mascara for you!
What is the aftercare?
– Avoid getting them wet for up to 48 hours after application.
– Do not rub or touch your eyes
– Clean them with a eyelash foam cleanser everyday.
– Do not use oil based products on or around the eyes
– Do not sleep on your faCE
– Stay on top of your fills every 2-3 weeks

KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid and do not touch the area unless you just washed your hands
CLEANSE 3X A DAY WITH SALINE. Dampen a paper towel with saline then press and blot to clean the area 3x daily
DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. In and out of the shower avoiding getting the area wet. If it does get wet, gently pat dry
NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TUBS, TANNING OR EXERCISING DO NOT DISRUPT, scratch or pick the scab. The unwanted pigment will be drawn up into the scab so it’s important to keep the scab as long as possible. Do not pick and allow scab to fall off naturally
TREAT AREA WITH TLC. Do not do anything that could compromise or cause problems to the treated area
ONCE ALL SCABBING FALLS OFF apply one drop of Vitamin E Oil 3 to 4 times a day throughout the day for a minimum of 4 weeks. DO NOT start applying the Vitamin E Oil until all scabs have naturally fallen off
LIPS please drink through a straw until all scabs are off. Brush teeth with a natural toothpaste (no bleach, whitener or peroxide). Cut food into small bites…no biting into a sandwich. Keep mouth expressions to a minimum. Once all scabs fall off either vitamin E oil or an all-natural healing lip balm is appropriate. Chapstick or Blistex is not appropriate.
